Definitely something I am lacking and wishing I had for my blog but I guess we all have our strengths. How amazing is it that your side hustle has brought you to where you are today with your current job. Talk about taking opportunities as they come! I find that what I have to learn about blogging never ends and the list of what I hope and plan to accomplish never ends but that’s kinda the beauty of it. I’m constantly challenged and trying to better myself and my blog and has made me a much more happier and content person overall.

Thank you Amy! Yes I launched the new look at the end of June but life happened so I haven’t been able to update much… until now. I am more determined than ever to come back to more frequent writing!! And thank you so much for your kind words. I think my best asset is my ability to see pattern out of chaos… because I’ll be honest, most things were not planned. In hindsight I try to make sense of what I do, and I guess Im’ quite good at that LOL.
It’s refreshing and comforting to know that as big as your blog is, you’re not entirely sure where you want to take it to. It’s good to know that you can just have a successful blog for the sake of having it, not knowing exactly what it’s going to turn into in terms of a business or creating profit. I think there is something very beautiful in that… creating for creation’s sake.

Thanks for visiting again, as usual 🙂 I will be back on your blog soon too!!! Been loving all your summer themed posts…sorry I’ve been mostly a ghost reader lately. Will be more interactive soon 😀

Hi Jorden! Thanks for visiting the blog and I’m glad you found this post resonating! The benefits of taking on a side hustle are obvious, but making sure you walk away with something solid is the hard part. I am sure crossing your legal career and a blogging one will create some interesting sparks for you sooner or later too!!

Thank you for the kind words as always, Lisa! It brightens my day to see your comments every single time 🙂 I think as a fellow blogger you would understand this a great deal – there is a lot of skills that are transferable between blogging and marketing. Forget about being an actual expert… fake it till you make it is officially an understatement! Fake it till you break it!! Fake it till you find a new goal and need to start faking it again LOL. I don’t like the word fake but I like the positive spin you can take on the word… take a leap of faith and just tell yourself you can do it.. and then, reality conforms!

I’m excited to hear about your next career adventure too. I will be checking in on Everyday Elevated!

Even why you started and deciding to have your blog collide with your professional life – all really resonates with me. For me it was also about venturing into a skill area that I should develop – being a lawyer by training means marketing and social media are all new skills for me!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences xx
