Being agile enough to shift your strategy on any platform through the different changes to support whatever end goal you are aiming for. I know I can count on your posts for being so informative and interesting to read! Regardless of how many followers you or I have, what matters is creating solid relationships with people. Like me with you, I trust you enough to consult you for career decisions. Being able to make an impact on someone elses life via social media is one of the best feelings ever! Growth may be slow, but at least you know that a majority of those following you are truly engaged. That totally trumps having a large following filled with followers you gained in ways that are seemingly unethical in the blogosphere and unattainable for the long term.

When you write, whether it’s once a month or less, people are willing to listen. You’ll figure it all out 🙂

In reply to Farrah Fan. This is a view point I've come across many times and I think it makes sense. I personally feel like the different social channels are like windows through which I get to engage with my readers/audience. Sometimes these windows may get dirty or occluded and people may not see me/hear me as well as I want to, but they're still sensing me and receiving the message I have to share with the world. I guess I focus on the "social" part of social media more than what I "own". Because the only thing I truly own is the relationship and the connection I build with people, and that's beyond channel, blog, email, or whatever form of conduit the digital world may offer. If that makes sense?
