PoshFest is the annual conference for the fashion merchandising app call Poshmark. I went to PoshFest 2015 in San Francisco last year and had a blast meeting many PFF’s (posh friends forever). It was a no brainer fore me when they announced that that this year’s PoshFest will be in October, and taking place in LA, especially when it’s a just 2 hour-drive from San Diego!
To start planning for the trip, some of you may be thinking about your outfits already now that the event is 60 days away! I had the same concerns last year about what’s appropriate, and was googling to no avail. So this year I decided to chime in as a PoshFest veteran.
P.S. For those of you flying in, check out my post from last month on travel tips!
There are three things to keep in mind when prepping your outfits for PoshFest 2016
1) You will be walking around quite a lot from the seminar sessions to the workshops! So keep your purses/handbags handy and relatively small, and heels comfortable! (4 inch heel or flats, whatever YOUR comfort level is!)
2) Remember to incorporate your brand! Whether you have a retail closet, a blog, or a company you own, remember to let your outfit speak about the brand you represent!
3) Bright colors > Dark colors. This is kind of a personal opinion, but I do think lighter color (think whites, light gray, beige, and any other bright colors) outfits tend to make you stand out more, and therefore more memorable!
Below are three inexpensive outfits I came up with that will keep your ensemble chic and your impression on-fleek!
